I would recommend to anyone looking to have a great time running the rivers of the Southeast The best crew on the river. The staff are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I've run rivers for over 25 years throughout the country, and this is the best team that I've ever encountered. Bones, Squid and Jack are the backbone of this crew, and I would recommend to anyone looking to have a great time running the rivers of the Southeast.Bo H.
We came up with the Boy Scouts from Woodruff summer camp and had an outstanding week. The staff was great and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks for such a great week and look forward to next year.Shawn F.

Will and Red Bear were awesome guides and made sure we had a really fun trip down the river. Will took every effort you make sure we got to experience every single feature of the Nantahala River. Highly recommended for anyone interested in rafting.Hassan K.

We ask all our guests to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your trip. This extra time is to complete our check-in process, and gear up for your Adventure. Please allow time for traffic, wrecks, etc as we cannot wait for latecomers.

With over 40 years of experience, Whitewater Express’ risk management procedures are unsurpassed. We train our guides extensively and follow the most up-to-date industry standards. However, it is important that you and your group know this: Whitewater rafting, like all adventure activities, involves inherent risks. It is important that guests know their comfort level and take proper responsibility for their own safety. If Whitewater Express staff feel that any individual is not in the proper condition to raft, we reserve the right to not allow that individual to raft for his or her own safety.
